Armação de Pêra is a very popular town in the summer, with a population that is several times higher than its population in the summer. It is a fishing and tourist area.

During the bathing season between June and September, Armação is filled with daytime and nighttime entertainment. During the day you can enjoy the sport that exists on the beach of the fishermen,
the volleyball.

On the beach, during the day, you can also visit the caves with some fishermen who are dedicated to this activity in the summer, while others are dedicated to fishing all year round. During the night the street of the bars and the avenue become places of great movement from 20h to 24h.

The religious festivals in this village appear on the second Sunday of August with the feast of Nossa Senhora dos Navegantes and on the third Sunday of September with the feast of Nossa Senhora dos Aflitos.
