For those coming from the west, the Island of Faro is the first of the barrier islands that separate the sea from the Ria Formosa, being integrated into the Natural Park.

Accessible by car through a narrow bridge that connects to the road from Faro, Praia is very close to the international airport.

Being an inhabited island, here you will find many restaurants where you can taste the delicious razor clam rice and complete infrastructures that support the vast beach.
